The Graduation Parade includes more than 600 graduands, staff and alumni dressed in their academic robes departing from the city campus @ Bowen street, creating a big crowd in the City

Xin Lay, pei's friend was one of many graduans join the parade early in the morning. The parade end at the Federal Square where an official welcome ceremony hold.

This is the lunch pack for all convocation participants. Inside was a garden Sandwich (combination of Vegetables only..not even added dressing. ), apple and mineral water.

Day 6 20 Dec 2008 Cherries Picking @ Haven Cheries

Day 6 in Melbourne. a day out to Cherry Haven. Today our family great activity was picking delicious, sweet & tasty cherry. Picking cherry is so easy, we have funs and eat lot of cherries while in the orchard.

The cherry picking season can be VERY short and great that we are able to experiences to pick our own cherry.

The entry fee was $3 per person and every 1 kilo of cherry picked sold at AUD$ 12. more expensive than the market's price. Oppss.. the price must be included those in our stomach. ;)

Darling Tristen enjoyed the most, never climb up to tree before. He was so serious with all cherries picked by himself. He even fall down from the ladder.

Dad was overjoyed while picking cherry from the tree, i love his post and went to his side for a snap shot.

Perhap, this is the way to enjoy retirement life. Mum and dad was in Melbourne almost for a month. The weather, seem to be hot with the sun shine but the fact was the wheather was extremely cold.

Cant resist the temptation,,,

Simply loving it............

* Cherry Haven is located in Wandin, situated in the Yarra Valley, about an hour drive from the Melbourne CBD. If anyone interested to self drive to Cherry Haven, pls follow this route : Eastern Freeway - Maroondah Hwy thru Lilydale onto the Warburton Hwy and turn off at Wandin ;)

This year is very much different from the past years. I have 3 weeks leave from the work and just stay at home make cookies. This is my first time to make cookies, have fun and did learn a lots from my mum. As in the new year decoration, surprisingly i did not spend much time and $$$ on it. Just pickup whatever found in the store and make use of it.
